Sacred Partnerships, labels, twin flames and karma

The story of my partner and I has been a heck of a wonderful ride. Yesterday we decided to change our contract, change labels and become what I feel like is a sacred partnership. We had been getting guided since the beginning of the year to make some space for each other, he was being guided to do some traveling and I was being guided to stay and grow in my own space. For reasons of the divine, that just didn't work out and when the V hit it posted more challenging to do that.
We both new that our relationship was very unique and the most challenging part for me is that he always managed to mirror my distortions and show me my stuff sometimes in a "harsh" way which I was grateful but yesterday when we decided to lose the label and just be, it feels like we both became more free and less connected in a very healthy way. The way he had described it is that our energy was too focused on us, what we were "causing", whether this was karmic or not, and instead when our energies let go of each other, we are now able to receive and enjoy more of our company.
I knew this about me, it has happened before in a couple of relationships where just the mere fact of having a label placed on would cause a mind block. I honestly feel like the world of relationships will change, it won't be as obstructing as it has been for far too long.
We have yet to discover what the future will bring to it, whether we will stay together or not we are open to both. Right now, we are now focused on getting everything ready to leave the state and embark in our new journey.
To those that are out there that feel stuck in their relationship, know that many, many people are going through this. Many people are ending their current contract with their partner and it is all part of the journey. In fact, I feel like the fact that the idea of having one partner for your entire journey is a bit limiting, it can bind you and it isn't honoring the fact that we are always changing. Your partner right now may not be the one that you need in your next phase and vice versa. Sometimes it is but it may not and we have to be completely open to that, it is just part of the process. What's happened is that we have been infiltrated with some much ooey-gooey romatinc movies, shows, etc. that have sold the idea of "forever after" with one partner and this just isn't what Heaven is all about. We are beings of flow and change and we must be able to adapt and release these concept. In due time, it will, I know it, for now I am here to support if you need it.
