Physical Clearing Thoughts

So after a super over-the-top emotional day on Wednesday (which was kinda expected since I forgot this weekend is the New Moon and around this day I tend to go very human emotionally) yesterday was a complete 180 degree experience. Just remember the stronger the break down, the stronger the comeback. It’s true.
I spend all day, and I mean all day, organizing, de-cluttering, shredding tons and tons of papers that were still connected to my past. Old business papers, checks, bank statements… shredded them all to pieces…by hand… with scissors. I gave away my shredder before moving to Minnesota and I have to tell you doing it by hand was quite liberating because I got to release some emotions through it and I loved it. Anytime you have the opportunity to get physical and smash something, or break something, give it all you got. We don’t realize how liberating that is and yet people or even ourselves have been quite judgmental about how to release emotions, especially anger. All I can say, is be intentional and let all the old beliefs go with it.
I also got rid of cards and it was quite easy. I said to myself, I honor the intention and blessings that that person sent me but I don’t need the physicality of it anymore, and I just sent them blessings. Remember that because I know we get stuck with so many things that we don’t need any more but still have sentimental value. This is not about what the other person will think about your decision, most of the time they don’t even care or even remember, you are the only one that gets stuck with this item and it’s only taking up space. This is a HUGE one. Everything physical that you have ends up taking up space for your Light and this is why going through and completely clearing your physical environment, even the ones that you don’t see (closets and storage spacious) is an extremely important part of the process. Take it from me it will be one of the most liberating things that you can do daily.
